How to replace the sliding blocks on a lift trolley from EdmoLift

This 4 minutes video guide takes you through, step by step, how to replace the sliding blocks on a lift trolley from EdmoLift.

          Important!
Keep all screws removed in step 1-7. You will need them to put the lift trolley back together.

          Tools used in this guide

          • Flat screw driver
          • Drill bit Ø3,5 mm
          • Drilling machine

Step 1-7 – replace the slide blocks

          Step 1

Remove the screws to detach the slide blocks from the platform.

          Step 2

Remove the platform from the scissor by pulling it back, turning it, and lifting it off.

          Step 3

Replace the top slide blocks from the scissor by simply pulling them off.

          Step 4

To replace the bottom slide blocks, start by lowering the scissor to its bottom position.

          Step 5

Remove the screws to detach the slide blocks from the base frame.

          Step 6

Remove the scissor from the base frame by pulling it back, let it rest on top of the base frame.

          Step 7

Turn the scissor out from the base frame and remove it, place it on top of the base frame. Replace the bottom slide blocks.

Step 8-13 - put the lift trolley back together

          Step 8

Turn the scissor back into the base frame and push it into place so all the slide blocks are inside the frame’s rails.

          Step 9

Predrill the sliding blocks on the fixed side with a 3,5 mm drill bit and put back the screws to reattach the slide blocks and the scissor to the base frame.

          Step 10

Pump up the scissor to a suitable position for you to put back the platform. Position the rear slide blocks straight and the front slide blocks slightly tilted as it will be easier to reattach the platform to the scissor.

          Step 11

Put the platform back onto the scissor, with the front first and then the rear. To get the front slide blocks into place you need to turn the platform sideways.

          Step 12

Make sure the rear slide blocks on the scissor are placed within the brackets of the platform.

          Step 13

Predrill the sliding blocks on the fixed side with a 3,5 mm drill bit and put back the screws to reattach the slide blocks and the scissor to the platform.
