After a period of development, EdmoLift presents EC64 – a powerful and user-friendly electric control system designed to meet both present and future needs. This industry-unique electrical control features a modular design, making it adaptable and service-friendly. With the digital tool eLift Assist, everything from configuration to troubleshooting is simplified. The initial sales launch will take place on June 1, 2025.

An electrical control system designed for the future
EC64 is EdmoLift’s new electrical control system and the result of fresh thinking and technical innovation. With smart functions and interface, the system offers high flexibility, user-friendliness, and advanced performance. Despite its compact design, EC64 is powerful and can be customized through its modular structure to meet specific needs, whether for simpler or more advanced applications.
EC64 is the outcome of a meticulous development work, combining our expertise in lifting solutions with the latest technology. The new, future-proofed electrical control system is our most flexible control system to date, says Jonathan Grip, CEO of EdmoLift.
What does the introduction of a new electrical control mean?
- For customers and users, it means access to a more flexible and digitally adapted electrical control system that enhances efficiency. For the operator, there is no noticeable difference in functionality except for a new color of the control unit.
- For distributors, it means being able to offer a compact, innovative, and future-proof solution that, with its modular design, can be adapted to specific needs (both standard and advanced) in a cost-effective way through modular customization and long-term support.
- For service and maintenance providers, service and maintenance of EdmoLift products is made easier.
A step forward in development
With over 60 years of experience in smart lifting solutions, EdmoLift continues to evolve in line with industry demands and needs. EC64 is designed to meet the increasing need for digitalization, connectivity, and sustainability. It is prepared for IoT (Internet of Things), fleet management, and data collection, opening new possibilities for monitoring and optimizing EdmoLift’s products.
The electrical control system is also prepared with digital interfaces such as USB-C and CAN bus, enabling seamless communication with other machines and systems, such as AGVs, for an integrated and automated production environment.

Quality and safety in every detail
EC64 has been carefully designed in terms of both design and function. It is developed, tested and manufactured in Sweden to ensure consistently high quality and performance. To guarantee quality and safety, the electrical control has undergone an independent third-party audit by RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden). This audit covers hardware, software, processes, and documentation, ensuring that EC64 meets the high standards of reliability and compliance.
EC64 complies with the safety requirements of current European and has an IP54 rating as standard, with an option to upgrade to IP65.
Modular design for increased flexibility
The EC64 is optimized to deliver great value relative to cost and features a modular design with a power module, logic module, and multi-connector. This allows the electrical control system to be scaled up or customized based on unique needs. It also means that future upgrades can be offered without replacing the entire system, simplifying service and maintenance.
Smart features for a digital future
EC64 takes EdmoLift’s digitalization to the next level. Among other things, with EC64, the eLift Assist tool is introduced, simplifying configuration, traceability, diagnostics, and troubleshooting. This tool enables users to install and monitor the control system's units and perform troubleshooting, saving time and enhancing the user experience.
Our ambition has been to create an electrical control system that is easy to use today while having great potential for the future, all while maintaining user-friendliness without compromising flexibility, says Jonathan.
Launch plan and the period ahead
The launch of EC64 will take place in stages. The first sales launch will apply to the TM series lifting tables, starting June 1, 2025, with production beginning after the summer holiday. Subsequently, the rest of the product range will be covered by the new electrical control system. By early 2026, previous versions of electrical control systems are planned to be fully phased out. Spare parts for the previous version will be available for at least 10 years, but new products with older control systems will no longer be available for order.
EdmoLifts distributors, and other partners will be offered training on the new electrical control system starting in spring 2025.
