Pallet Magazine - PALLET BUDDY
Our pallet magazine for fully automated stacking and destacking of pallets is completely electrically powered and easy to install.
You can place it anywhere anywhere near a 230V electric socket. You instantly get efficient and flexible pallet handling - if the pallet flow changes, you can easily move your PALLET BUDDY to a new place. The PALLET BUDDY is equipped with a Siemens S7-1200 control unit and an actuator from LINAK.
You can insert and remove pallets with the aid of a pallet trolley, stacker or regular forklift truck. All handling takes place at floor level. It is also possible to insert or remove an entire stack of pallets directly from PALLET BUDDY – without using a forklift truck.
PALLET BUDDY can be ordered for handling pallets in cold storage rooms with temperatures as low as - 25°C (accessory).
- 100% electric, no compressed air is used.
- Environmentally friendly, operates silently.
- Easy installation.
- Stacks up to 25 pallets.
Options
Truck protection
The truck protection in 10 mm steel is offered as added protection of the pallet magazine.
The truck protection are supplied as a pair and bolted into the floor in front of the pallet magazine. This option is used especially in settings where pallets are handled by forklift trucks.

Safety frame gate for 15 pallet magazine
The gate is a part of the safty frame and is mounted for added safety. The pallet magazine can only be operated when the gate is closed and locked with the gate safety switch. The gate covers the right front from the top of the second pallet at floor level to the top of the safety frame.
The gate is the same type as the one on the 25-pallet magazine.

Stop blocks
The stop blocks are a perfect option when the pallet magazine needs to handle pallets where the runners at the bottom are crosswise to the hand pallet truck. When pulling out the hand pallet truck from the pallet magazine, the two stop blocks hold the pallet in place, keeping it in the magazine.
The stop blocks are installed at the front of the pallet magazine, one on each side next to the front sensors.

Pallet handling in cold environments
The pallet magazine can be modified with other actuators to enable pallet handling in cold environments down to -25°C / -13 F°.

Maximum indicator
A sensor that detects when the pallet stack is full.
If the pallet magazine needs to stop e.g. at 12 pallets, a maximum indicator can be mounted on the safety frame or on a bar. When the maximum indicator is actuated, e.g. at 12 pallets, the stack is automatically put down on the floor. The stack is then ready for pick-up, e.g. by a hand pallet truck. This operation can also be manually performed from the touch panel.

Signal tower incl. maximum indicator
A signal tower including a sensor that detects when the pallet stack is full.
If the pallet magazine needs to stop e.g. at 12 pallets, the signal tower with a maximum indicator can be mounted on the safety frame or on a bar. When the maximum indicator is actuated, e.g. at 15 pallets, the lamp lights and the stack is automatically put down on the floor. The stack is then ready for pick-up, e.g. by a hand pallet truck.

Switch disconnector
The switch disconnector enables disconnection from the main supply right on the pallet magazine.
The switch disconnector can be locked, e.g. when servicing the machine.
This is an advantage and a safety feature for maintenance of the pallet magazine. The switch disconnector is positioned under the main supply.
