Timber Tilting

Timber tilting system loaded with timberAmong other useful areas, timber tilting equipment is used to feed planing and cutting machinesand in front of lines where stacks of timber, often in piles, are processed. Both tilting and lifting operations are chain driven. Each mast with lifting fork and chain is a separate unit, meaning the tilting equipment can handle unevenly distributed loads such as short packages of wood. The number and positioning of lifting forks and can be accommodated on request. The tilting equipment can be manufactured for different working heights and different sizes of stacks.

These stacks of wood can be transported to the tilting equipment by forklift or conveyor. When the stack is positioned on the forks, the equipment is tilted 45° and the stack is lifted to the upper layer and can be tilted off. The system even identifies planks that are used as spacers, separating these from the stacked piles. The tilting equipment works automatically and the wood flow will therefore be more even. It will reduce several difficult working applicationsand the time for inspection of the wood will decrease.
